Acting is not an intellectual medium. It’s a feeling medium, an intuitive medium. Yes, your intellect comes into play, but your ability to feel fearlessly and make courageous decisions based on self-confidence and skill is what allows you the absolute freedom to soar.

My class is geared toward helping you gain and hone your skill, learning how to approach your craft with clarity and courage and discover your capacity and strengths.

As you break old habits and replace them with these newly understood strengths, it frees your creativity and empowers you to work with ferocity and resolve.

This is an intensive class that aims to get you on your feet and working. To give you the tools to create with spontaneity. To help you audition with conviction and potency. And to do all of these things with joy!

No materials from class may be duplicated or distributed. They are intended only for students for educational purposes. No recording of Charlie may be made or broadcast or published. Once paid, there are no refunds or makeup classes provided.

How long is the class?
These three-hour sessions are usually taught from 12:00pm to 3:00pm (PST) over the course of four weekend days (though, sometimes dates vary according to holidays, and Charlie’s overall acting/directing schedule, etc). Currently, all classes are taught via Zoom, and each student is responsible for downloading, installing, and connecting to each class.

How many students are in each class?
Class size will be kept small and intimate and will not exceed 11 students. The class is filled on a first come, first served basis. If the class has filled, you will get the message “out of stock” when you try to enroll.

What if I miss a class?
Unfortunately, there are no make-up classes or refunds. Once you’ve paid for the class, that spot is yours.

What materials are required for class?
Audition copy and other scripted material will be provided. However, you may also bring in audition material (if you have any) to work on in lieu of the provided material.

Can I record the class?
There will be no engineer, and no recordings of the class will be made by Charlie. However, you may record your own individual auditions only, and you are responsible for recording your work and creating your own files. No recordings of Charlie, other students, or any other portion beyond your personal audition are allowed to be made, broadcast, or published in any form. This is a safe space for all to perform and share openly.
